Dr. Karleena Tuggle was born and raised in Long Island New York. She received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore. She also earned her Medical Doctorate from Howard University College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in general surgery at Howard University Hospital also.
Dr. Tuggle is Board Certified with American Board of Surgery. She moved to Atlanta in 2011 where she completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery with Peachtree Surgical and Bariatrics.
She has since continued to practice with Peachtree Surgical and Bariatrics.
