Over 15% of children from two to four years of age, 24% of third grade children, 15% of middle school children and 14% of high school students are obese, according to the Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Public Health.
(C.H.O.I.C.E.S.), the Center Helping Obesity In Children End Successfully, Inc. will host a Children’s Nutrition Education & Physical Activity Expo to raise awareness for this growing problem affecting our children.
The Expo will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 9:00am – 2:00pm at First Congregational Church at125 Ellis Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. Volunteers are needed, so please contact CHOICES at www.ChoicesForKids.org or call (678) 819-3663
